Very nice colors scheme, and a combo which, while pleasant & almost glamorous, would 'on the field' and with the natural dyes available by then, be the best approximation of 'camo' that one can hope by Lace Wars times.
Senile rant mode on: what about a *white* rim and a green pompon on the tricorn? But it's your creation, your country and your army, who am I to intrude?
BTW, how you keep your list of Tricorn blogs up-to-date is examplary!
Best regards,
Jean-Louis

Thank you all for the compliments. As for Jean-Louis and the hat tape, the green hat tape shall stay! I like the distinctiveness, and as Jeff points out, there are some minor justifications for it historically :D

Actually, for the pompom, part of the reason I'm not coloring those on the templates is that I intend to use the pompoms to indicate which company a soldier belongs to.
